  • AboutMy name is Barry Cooper. I’m an author and speaker who writes for Christianity Explored ministries. I was born and raised in Epsom, Surrey. Originally, I wanted to be an astronaut. But I was asthmatic, and wasn’t sure if they’d let me take my inhaler into space. After studying English Language and Literature at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, I trained as an actor at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, and appeared on stage in various places, including Shakespeare’s Globe and the National Theatre. I also co-ran a theatre company for seven years. My church for the last 14 years has been All Souls, Langham Place. In May 2010, I completed an MA in Christian Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago, and am now living in London again. As well as speaking, I write books, curricula and – increasingly – scripts. I’d love to hear from you. Send me a message, friend me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter.
